The passion for growing plants and vegetables that I have today, I owe it to my parents. Growing up in a farmer family in India, I was surrounded by lush green fields and bountiful crops. My parents taught me the importance of cultivating the land and the hard work that goes into it. They taught me how to care for the plants and the joy of seeing them flourish. I would often help them in the fields during my summer breaks, and it was during those moments that I developed my love for gardening.

The way my parents would take care of the plants, the way they would talk to them and how they would watch them grow, was nothing less than art. Watching them, I realized that there is something magical about growing your own food and taking care of nature, and that's what drove me to continue this passion even today.

In the midst of my busy life here in the United States, I missed doing what I loved - growing plants and vegetables. But with a backyard at my disposal, I decided to start experimenting with different plants and veggies. The pandemic only served to fuel my passion even more, as I found myself with more time to devote to my garden. I began sharing my plant experiments on Instagram, and before I knew it, I had amassed a community of over 110K plant friends.
